Selected files

Files selected in a tool are read by your browser so the tool can create a result locally. Selected files are not uploaded to our server, and this site does not store your PDFs, images, filenames, or document content.

Analytics and ads

Do not add analytics that collect file names, document text, thumbnails, or selected file content. Ad placements should remain clearly labeled and separate from tool actions.

Downloads

Generated files are created as browser blobs and downloaded directly by your browser. The original file on your device is not changed.

Limitations

Some advanced compression or conversion features may have browser limitations. When a feature cannot be completed privately in the browser, the page should explain that clearly instead of uploading files silently.
